Setting up the instrument
Charge the batteries completely prior to their first use.
1. Set up the laser
2. Align the laser using
the circular bubble
3. Switch on the laser
Note: The laser will stop rotating in the case of vibration, which leads to
a change in position.
Checking the accuracy
The accuracy of the rotating laser should be checked regularly. A measuring
distance of 50 m with unobstructed view will be required for this purpose. A total of
four measurements are carried out (two measurements on each axis).
After aligning the laser on one axis (X- and Y-axis are marked on the cover), the
receiver is used to determine the position of the beam. This position is to be
marked. The laser is then turned by 180° and the position is determined and
marked again. At a distance of 50 m, the difference between the 0° and 180°
marks must be a maximum of 5 mm.
This procedure is to be carried out in the same way for the second axis.
