Attaching power tools
NOTE: Carefully read the power tool's safety instructions and instruction manual before mounting it onto
the stand. Always unplug/remove the battery of the power tool before attaching it to the stand.
1. Prepare the power tool for transportation; lock the saw head, etc.
2. Mount the quick-release mounting brackets (3) onto the aluminium track rail. Hook the fixed part
of the bracket over the rear of the rail and then fit the locking handle side onto the front of the rail.
Push the lever down to lock the bracket in place. Follow the same procedure with the other bracket.
Note: The locking handles should be adjusted so that they hold onto the rail securely. Adjust the locking
mechanism using the adjustment screw on the inside of each bracket.
3. Position the power tool over the mounting brackets (L), and slide the brackets until their holes are aligned
with the power tool's mounting holes. Pass coach bolts (or other appropriate bolts) up through the slots
in the mounting brackets and the mounting holes in the power tool from underneath, pass a washer over
the end of each bolt and then fasten each bolt with a nut. On some saws, there can be limited space for
the front coach bolts when the saw is turned, in this case the bolts should be inserted through the slots from
above and the washers and nuts fastened underneath. For power tools with asymmetrical hole patterns use
an adaptor plate (our art. no 40-7962).
Setup
Adjusting the length of the stand
1. Lay the workpiece on top of the power tool's saw table.
2. Loosen the locking knobs (18) and extend the rail extensions (7) out to the desired length.
3. Tighten the locking knobs, but do not over-tighten.
4. If necessary, the table extension support legs (8) can be folded down by pressing in the release catches (19)
and pulling them out from inside the rail extensions. Adjust the length of the legs using the catches (20) in
the middle of the legs. Make sure that the ball catches (21) and catches (20) lock properly.
5. Folding away the support legs: Press in the ball catches (21) and catches (20), fold the support legs outward
and push them back into the rail extensions.

Adjusting the roller supports
1. Loosen the locking knobs (17) and position the support
rollers (15) up/down into the desired position.
2. Tighten the locking knobs, but do not over-tighten.
3. When sawing workpieces to equal lengths, fold up
the length stop (16) on one of the roller supports and
adjust the distance to the saw blade.
