    Wall Installation The Fortress.TeleCom is shipped with screws and brackets to mount it to a wall surface. You must attach one bracket to each side of the UPS, and then mount the UPS to the wall. Install the UPS by following the instructions below. NOTE: The procedure requires two people. 1.

    Rack Installation To mount the Fortress.TeleCom in a 19-inch (483-mm) EIA 310 C standard rack, follow these instructions. Do not try to mount the unit if the rack is too wide. This procedure requires two people. 1. Install a stationary shelf or supporting angle brackets (available as standard rack hardware from electronics distributors) below the intended rack location for the Fortress.TeleCom.

    Quick Startup If your Fortress.TeleCom UPS has a removable power cord, connect the power cord to the back of the unit. Plug the UPS into a wall outlet. If the Fortress.TeleCom is a U model, check to make sure that the rear panel Site Wiring Fault light is not lit. Let the unit charge the battery for at least 3 hours (7 hours for 1425 VA model if it is fully loaded).

    Wandmontage Die Fortress TeleCom wird mit Schrauben und Halterungen für die Wandbefestigung geliefert. Sie müssen eine Halterung auf jeder Seite der Anlage anbringen und dann die USV an die Wand hängen. Für die Montage der USV beachten Sie bitte nachfolgende Anweisungen. ACHTUNG: Die Montage der USV erfordert 2 Personen.

    Auswechseln der Batterien Die Batterien des Fortress.TeleCom-Geräts können vom Anwender ausgetauscht werden und lassen sich auch dann auswechseln, wenn das Fortress.TeleCom-Gerät ans Netz angeschlossen ist und Verbraucher versorgt. Dies bedeutet, daß die Batterien im Bedarfsfall während des Betriebs der USV ausgetauscht werden können.
