Installation of the Remote Display (Cable: 23cm)
on Sartorius Models of the Following Series:
ED2201/-CW, ED2202S/-CW, ED3202S/-CW,
ED4202S/-CW, ED5201/-CW, ED6202S/-CW,
ED8201/-CW, GW 3202, GW 6202, GW 7201.
Note:
The scale must be equipped with a 25-pin data
interface (RS-232).
ED and GW models with serial number 22505142
or higher. For connection to other series, please
contact your Sartorius representative.
§ Disconnect the scale from the power supply:
Unplug power cord.
§ Unplug the mains unit jack plug.
§ Remove the cable (23 cm) from the package
supplied.
§ Remove the weighing pan.
§ Turn over the scale and the remote display and place
on a soft surface (e.g.: foam rubber mat).
§ Carefully press the threaded bushings into the base
plate of the scale and into the remote display with
your thumbs.
§ Plug the data cable (23 cm) into the data output
of the scale and into the remote display (9-pin) and
secure by tightening the screws.
