NOTE!
Ensure the Steam Station has cooled completely before cleaning.
CLEANING
1. Turn off the Steam Station and unplug at the power outlet.
2. Remove the water tank, empty and rinse.
3. Regularly clean the ceramic soleplate with a damp, non-metallic washing pad.
4. Wipe the exterior of the Steam Station with a soft cloth.
5. Wrap the cord and steam hose around the cord tidy at the base of the unit to store
neatly.
6. Do NOT use abrasive cleaners, detergent or other chemicals to clean the Steam
Station.
RINSING THE BOILER
To extend the effective operating life of the Steam Station and avoid scale particle
buildup, it is recommended to rinse the boiler out once a month or after every 10 uses.
1. Turn off the Steam Station and unplug at the power outlet.
2. Position the unit on a sink edge or similar water proof surface.
3. Remove the water tank.
4. Using both hands holding the base, give the Steam Station a minor shake (be careful
not to drop the iron from its base).
5. Position the Steam Station on its side, then remove the boiler rinse cap cover, and
use a coin to unscrew the plug.
6. Fill the boiler with water again (ensure you use tap water), and give it another shake.
7. Repeat this step twice for best results.
8. Screw the plug back in and then place the cap on.
