Thank you for purchasing this Hendi appliance. Please read this manual carefully before connecting the
appliance in order to prevent damage due to incorrect use. Read the safety regulations in particular very
carefully.

• Read these instructions carefully before use to
familiarize yourself with the appliance before con-
necting it to its gas cartridge.
• Keep these instructions for future reference.
• This appliance shall only be used with Hendi bu-
tane gas cartridge. It may be dangerous to attempt
to fit other types of gas containers.
WARNING: Check that seals (between the appliance and the gas cartridge) are in place and in good condi-
tion before connecting the gas cartridge (fig.6). Do not use the appliance if it has damaged or worn seals.

Safety regulations

• The appliance is equipped with a safety device
which stops the flow of gas if the pressure in the
cartridge, e.g. because of overheating, becomes
too high.

Using the cooker for the first time:
1. Check that the control knob (8) is set to position
"•" by turning it clockwise and the cartridge lever
(6) is set to UNLOCK.
2. Open the cartridge cover (2) and insert the car-
tridge, with the head to the front, so the notch
points upwards and aligns in the valve guide
(fig.2).
3. Press the cartridge lever (6) down (fig.3).
