9. Storing the appliance

 Unplug the appliance from the safety socket.
 Wrap the mains cable around the cable holder on the underside of the appli-
ance.
 Store the toaster in a dry place where it will be protected from moisture, drips
and spray. Avoid dust, heat and direct sunlight in order to prevent damage.

10. Disposal

Packaging
The product has been packaged to protect it from damage in transit.
Packaging is raw material and can be re-used or added to the recycling
system.
Appliance
Do not under any circumstances dispose of the appliance with the
household rubbish at the end of its service life. In accordance with Di-
rective 2012/19/EU, the appliance must be properly disposed of at the
end of its service life. This involves separating the materials in the appli-
ance for the purpose of recycling and avoiding any impact on the envi-
ronment.
Take old appliances to a collection point for electrical scrap or a recy-
cling centre.
