8. Cleaning the appliance

DANGER!
Risk of electric shock.
There is a risk of electric shock due to live parts.
 Never immerse the appliance in water or other liq-
uids.
 Disconnect the plug from the socket before cleaning
the appliance casing.
CAUTION!
Risk of burning!
The appliance becomes hot during use.
 Always allow the appliance to cool down completely.
ATTENTION!
Risk of damage.
Damage to the appliance caused by improper handling
of sensitive surfaces.
 Avoid using chemical solvents or cleaning products
as they can damage the surface and/or labelling of
the appliance.

8.1. Emptying the crumb tray

 If you are using the toaster regularly, empty out the crumb tray approximately
once a week.

8.2. Cleaning the casing

 Only use a damp cloth and mild soap suds for cleaning. Avoid using chemical
solvents or cleaning products as they can damage the surface and/or labelling
of the appliance.
