V. Safety Instructions
When using this appliance, always adhere to the following
principles:
1) Prevent children and physically or mentally disabled persons
from using the blender. Keep the appliance and its power cord
away from these persons.
2) If you will not be using the appliance or if you leave it without
supervision or wish to carry out maintenance or to attach or
remove a part, always turn it off and disconnect the power
cord from the power source.
3) Never touch moving parts.
4) Before connecting this appliance to el. power, check that the
appliance or its power cord are not damaged. If there are
signs of damage, do not connect it to a power source and have
it repaired at an authorised service centre for the Nature7®
brand. Only original parts from the manufacturer may be
used in the repair of the appliance and the repair may only be
performed by an authorised service centre of the Nature7®
brand. For warranty repairs, please contact the vendor from
whom you purchased the product and they will organise
repairs at an authorised service centre. In the event of a post
warranty service, please contact an authorised service centre
of the Nature7® brand (you will find the servicing locations at
the website at the start of this user's manual).
5) The appliance is intended for use in indoor locations. Protect
it against moisture and prevent water from entering the
internal parts of the appliance. Never place the appliance on
wet surfaces as water could enter into the electrical parts of
the appliance through the motor ventilation openings located
on the underside of the motor unit.
6) Protect the power cord against mechanical and thermal
damage. Secure the contact point of the power cord with
a sharp surface or item against damage to the insulation, e.g.
by sticking on a textile. Keep the power cord at a sufficient
distance away from hot surfaces to prevent thermal damage
to the insulation.
7) To prevent serious injury or damage to the appliance, do not
place your hands or any other items, e.g. utensils for push-
ing the blended material into the jar when the appliance is
running; use only the pusher designed for this purpose. Before
placing ingredients containing hard parts, e.g. stones from
fruit, nut shells, etc. first remove the hard parts. Rubber scrap-
ers etc. can only be used when the blender is not running.
8) On appliances equipped with a pusher, it is only possible to
use the pusher while the appliance is running when the lid
is seated in position and the pusher is inserted through the
cap hole because only in this way is it possible to prevent the
pusher from coming into contact with the blades.
9) Information about the sharp blades:
• The blender blades are sharp! Handle them very carefully.
• Never attempt to remove the blades while the jar is seated on
the motor unit.
18
SM12W
• Do not turn on the appliance when the blender blades are
loose or damaged.
• Never turn on the motor if the blender jar is not properly
seated.
10) The maximum volumetric capacity is marked on the jar, i.e.
2 litres. In the event of thick ingredients, add a smaller volume
to prevent undesirable overloading of the appliance.
11) On appliances equipped with a pusher, the jar should be
filled up to no more than 2/3 after the pusher is inserted. If
you use the pusher, do not leave the appliance running for
more than 30 seconds.
12) When making peanut butter or oily meals, do not mix for
a period longer than 60 seconds from the moment the mixture
starts to circulate. Longer processing will overheat the mixture.
13) Only use the appliance when the lid with the opening and
the cap are correctly seated in position. Only remove the cap
when adding additional ingredients or when using the pusher.
Watch out for the mixture splashing out of the jar.
14) Information about processing hot liquids:
• Be careful when working with hot liquids. They could splash
out from under the lid or hot steam could cause burns.
• Carefully secure the two-part lid in position. It will prevent the
blended mixture from splashing out and prevent the lid from
coming off while the appliance is running.
• When processing hot liquids, always start from the lowest
speed and then you can increase it. However, do not set the
maximum speed.
15) Information about cleaning:
This appliance must not be submerged or cleaned under running
water. Before cleaning the appliance, disconnect the power cord
from the power source.

juice FroM Whole Fruit PieceS
• By blending fruit, it is possible to prepare a creamy
liquid that retains vitamins and bio-active compounds
and contains fibre, that is then more available for the
body to use. Additional ingredients may be added to
create a mixture for frozen pulp or ice cream. To retain
vitamins and the bio-active compounds, it is important
to mix efficiently, but quickly at a high speed as a longer
mixing time heats up and over-oxygenates the mixture,
which degrades sensitive compounds.
8
blending
• Making salad dressings, mixing creams or blending
beverage is very easy by adjusting the speed.
8
choPPing
• It is possible to chop carrot, olives, nuts, coconut,
onion, eggs, cheeses, etc. to the required coarseness
based on the selected speed and chopping time.
8
ice and Frozen Food
• You will create crushed material out of practically any
type of frozen food.
8
coFFee beanS and SeedS
• Grind coffee bean coffee in the comfort of your own
home.
• Your flax, sesame or sunflower seeds will be pulverised
in an instant making available otherwise inaccessible
nutrients.
8
SouPS
• Simply place vegetables into the jar, cover with water,
add spices or other ingredients, blend for 4-6 minutes
on high speed and in this way prepare excellent warm
soups.
c
attention
At high speed the liquid is heated considerably by friction
forces acting on the rotating blades in contact with the
blended mixture. At maximum speed, it is possible to heat up
drinking water to approximately 70°C!
