Pull the handle at the rear top of the child seat and hold it while placing the backrest
in the preset positions. Release the lever and the backrest locks in place.

20. Use of adapters for car seats
Put the crotch strap between your childs legs and insert the clipses of the
waistbelts into the central buckle on the crotch strap. When you hear the
clicks the straps are fastened. Pull the shoulderstraps over the shoulders
of your child and attach both straps to the clipses of the respective waist
straps. Adjust the length of the belts according to the size of your child by
using the sliding buckles on the straps. Retain 2 cm clearance between
belt and child. To open the harness : press both hooks above and below
the clips inserted in the central buckle and pull out the straps.
The shoulder belts can be placed in two positions. Push the buckle on
the back of the child seat through the hole in the pvc backrest and the
seat upholstery. Move and fi rst push through the seat upholstery and then
through the opening in the pvc backrest. Make sure that both shoulder
straps are at the same height and that both are locked.

Pull up the footrest to raise the support. Pull
the support handle on the side of the foot-
rest in the direction of the arrow as shown
in fi gure 2. Turn the footrest downwards to
lower it to the desired position.
This frame is compatible with car seats of
the Quax Avenue range, Maxi Cosi and Cy-
bex. To assemble you need the right adap-
ters. Push the adapters into the housings
on both sides of the frame. Push the car
seat onto the adapters until you hear a click.
Check if the car seat is fi rmly secured by
trying to lift the car seat out of the frame. To
remove push the buttons on both sides of
the car seat and take the seat away. Push
the buttons on the inside of the adapters
and remove them.
