Risk of compressed air supply:
• Compressed air supply can cause severe injuries!
• Always switch off the air supply. Drain the air from the hose until it is depressurized and interrupt the air
supply to the device if it is not used or before replacing the add-on parts or repairing the tool.
• Never direct the air jet directly on yourself or other persons.
• Wiping hoses may cause severe injuries. Make sure that the hoses do not show any damages and that all
connections are correctly mounted and firmly seated.
• Never exceed the maximum air pressure indicated on the type plate or of max. 6.3 bars.
• Observe the installation instructions!

Maintenance

• Have damaged or worn parts replaced by original spare parts by your retailer. The use of non-authorized
spare parts can cause malfunctions of the tool and injuries to persons.
• Regularly check, if there are possible cracks, abnormal clearances, offsets on the tool and check if all
mobile parts are running smoothly.
• In case of corresponding noticeable problems the device must no longer be used, before it is inspected
by an authorized specialist workshop. Bear in mind that lots of accidents can be traced back to bad or
insufficiently maintained tools.
Application of the device:
• Eccentric disc-type sander: For sanding smooth surfaces
Safety warning instructions for the operation of the sander risks when clamping the sanding disc:
• It is necessary to exactly clamp the sanding disc in order to avoid risk of injuries by discs flying off.
• Do not use any damaged or broken sanding discs.
• Only use sanding discs which comply with the seat and pitch of the device. Do not apply excessive force in
order to fix a sanding disc which is supposed to fit. Possibly the pitch does not match.
Matching discs can be easily screwed on.
• Check, if the disc is well-seated before you start working by letting the device run at full speed for short
time. Make sure to protect yourself against discs flying off (e.g. by holding the device under a heavy working
table).
• If the sanding disc gets loose and flies off, it may cause very severe injuries!
• Never use a sanding disc with a lower highest speed than the highest speed recommended for the
compressed air device. The admissible highest speed is listed in the technical datasheets of the sanding
disc.
• Do not wear clothes, jewelry or loose clothe and avoid wearing your hair loose!
• Neck scarves or necklaces nearby rotating parts represent a risk of strangulation!
• Imperatively make sure that you hair cannot be caught by mobile parts. Severe risk of injury!
• Avoid direct contact with the add-on parts of the device during and after use. Protective gloves avoid the
risk of cuts or burns.
• Only use original spare parts (refer to the parts list).
• Only use discs which comply with the values indicated in the technical data and with the legal regulations.
• This tool is designed as sander and must only be used for this function. Any misuse may cause severe
health damages.
Risks during operation:
• Only deposit the tool when the rotating parts have come to a halt.
• Do not let the device run while it is being transported.
• Hold the tool always well and safe in your hand and position your body and arm in a way that you are able
to absorb any blowbacks which might occur when using the device.
• Keep your hands away from rotating parts. Also here blowbacks might occur.
• Make sure that the tool and the mounted sanding discs do not cant during operation in order to avoid
blowbacks of the device.
• Immediately switch off the device in case of canting or blocking. Do not start the tool in any case as long as
it is blocked. First connect the compressed air line before you try to release the tool from its canting. Check
the reason for the blocking and take corresponding corrective measures.
