Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
Das Produkt ist zum Empfang von digitalen Fernsehprogrammen, die über DVB-T ausgestrahlt werden,
geeignet. Es muss an einem USB2.0-Anschluss eines Computers betrieben werden.
Alle enthaltenen Firmennamen und Produktbezeichnungen sind Warenzeichen der jeweiligen
Inhaber. Alle Rechte vorbehalten.

Anschluss, Treiber- und Software-Installation
• Verbinden Sie den USB-Adapter mit der Antenne.
• Starten Sie Ihr Betriebssystem und warten Sie, bis es vollständig geladen ist.
• Schließen Sie den Adapter an einen freien USB2.0-Port Ihres Computers an. Windows erkennt daraufhin
neue Hardware.
• Legen Sie die mitgelieferte CD in das entsprechende Laufwerk Ihres Computers ein und folgen Sie allen
Anweisungen von Windows. Falls Sie Windows XP mit Service-Pack 2 einsetzen, so ist die Frage, ob
neue Treiber aus dem Internet gesucht werden sollen, mit „Nein, diesmal nicht" (unterster Auswahlpunkt)
zu beantworten, klicken Sie auf „Weiter >".
Die Windows-Meldung, nach der die Software den „Windows-Logo-Test" nicht bestanden hat, ist zu
ignorieren, klicken Sie auf „Installation fortsetzen".
• Nach Abschluss der Treiberinstallation ist die mitgelieferte DVB-T-Software zu installieren. Starten Sie
dazu das Programm „Setup.exe" im Hauptverzeichnis der CD und folgen Sie allen Anweisungen. Die zur
Installation nötige Seriennummer steht z.B. auf der CD oder der CD-Hülle.
• Danach ist ein Neustart erforderlich, bevor das Produkt funktioniert.
• Auf dem Desktop von Windows finden Sie nun ein neues Symbol, über das die DVB-T-Software gestartet
werden kann. Beim ersten Start erscheint normalerweise direkt das Fenster zum Scannen nach
vorhandenen DVB-T-Sendern.
Tipps & Hinweise
• Im abgesicherten Modus von Windows funktioniert USB nicht (oder nur eingeschränkt für USB-Tastatur/
USB-Maus). Der USB-Adapter kann hier nicht betrieben werden.
• Schließen Sie den USB-Adapter nur an einem USB2.0-Port an.
• DVB-T-Signale sind nur in bestimmten Gebieten empfangbar. Informieren Sie sich z.B. im Internet, wo
ein Empfang möglich ist. In der Randzone von DVB-T-Sendern kann es zu Bild-/Tonstörungen,
Aussetzern o.ä. kommen.
• Stellen Sie die Antenne nicht direkt neben elektrische/elektronische Geräte oder Metallgegenstände.
Dies kann den Empfang negativ beeinflussen.
• An dem USB-Adapter können auch andere für den DVB-T-Empfang geeignete Antennen angeschlossen
werden. Dies ist sinnvoll, wenn Sie am Rand von DVB-T-Sendegebieten wohnen.
• Das Produkt ist nur zum Empfang von DVB-T-Signalen geeignet (keine Satellitensignale, kein
Kabelanschluss, keine analogen Fernsehprogramme).

Prescribed Use
The product is suitable for the reception of digital television programs that are broadcasted via DVB-T. It has
to be operated on a USB2.0 connection of computer.

Connection, Driver and Software Installation
• Connect the USB adapter with the antenna.
• Start your operating system and wait until it is completely loaded.
• Connect the adapter to a free USB port of your computer. Window will then recognise the new hardware.
• Insert the CD included in delivery into the appropriate drive of your computer and follow all instructions
under Windows. If you are using Windows XP with service pack 2, the question, whether new drivers are
to be searched from the Internet is to be answered with "No, not this time" (lowest selection point) click
onto "next>".
Ignore the Windows message that says that the software has not passed the "Windows Logo Test", click
"continue installation".
• After completing the driver installation, the DVB-T software included in delivery is to be installed. Start
the "Setup.exe" program in the main menu of the CD and follow all instructions. The serial number
necessary for installation is eg on the CD or the CD cover.
• Afterwards a restart is necessary before the product will work.
• On the desktop of Windows you will now find a new icon via which the DVB-T software can be started.
During the first start, the window for scanning for existing DVB-T stations will directly appear.
Tips & Notes
• In the protected mode of Windows, USB does not function (or only in a limited way for USB keyboard/
USB mouse). The USB adapter can not be used here.
• Only connect the USB adapter to a USB2.0 port.
• DVB-T signals can only be received in certain areas. Get some information eg on the Internet, where
reception is possible. In the peripheral zone of DVB-T stations there may be interferences of the picture
or tone, dropouts or similar
• Don't place the antenna directly next to electrical/electronic devices or metal objects. This can have a
negative effect on the reception.
• On the USB adapter, different antenna that are suitable for DVB-T reception can also be connected. This
makes sense when you live in the peripheral zone of DVB-T broadcasting areas.
• The product is only suitable for the reception of DVB-T signals (no satellite signals, no cable connection,
no analogue television programs).
