Cleaning the drain pump filter

Warning:

Be careful of hot water!
o
Allow detergent solution to cool down.
o
Unplug the machine to avoid electrical shock.
o
Drain pump filter can capture thread and small objects from the washing.
o
Clean the filter periodically to ensure normal operation of the washing machine.
Open the Service
filter.
Caution:
o
Make sure that valve cap and emergency drain hose are put back correctly. The cap
plates should be inserted in line with the hole plates to avoid water leakage.
o
Some machines don't have an emergency drain hose. In this case, rotate the lower
cover cap directly so the water will run into a basin.
o
When the appliance is in use, and depending on the programme selected, there
may be hot water in the pump. Never remove the pump cover during a wash cycle.
Always wait until the appliance has finished the cycle and is empty. When replacing
the cover, ensure it is securely re-tightened.
