Operation
Always switch off the device before inserting or removing a watch (move the function
switch (1) into the position „OFF").
Disconnect the device from the mains supply if you are not going to use it for a while
(pull the power adapter from the mains socket).
Do not move or shake the device when it is in use.
• Open the cover (3).
• Pull out the watch holder (4) using your forefinger and thumb. This requires a certain amount
of force to release the catch mechanism of the watch holder (4).
• The larger watch holder plate can be removed from the watch holder (4) for small watches.
• Fasten your watch with the watch strap around the watch holder (4) by compressing the
spring of the watch holder (4) (Figure 1), placing the watch on the watch holder (4) and then
releasing the spring again (Figure 2).
As you are doing this, make sure that the two lugs on the watch holder (4) (marked
with arrows in the picture above) do not get covered by the watch strap. These two
lugs lock the watch holder (4) into place when you insert it into the watch winder.
• Reinsert the watch holder (4) along with the watch into the watch winder (Figure 3). Make
sure that it locks into place properly, which is indicated by an audible click.
• Close the cover (3) again.
• Using the function switch (1), the winding direction of the watch winder is determined and the
device is also switched on or off:
- Position OFF:
Device off
- Position
:
Clockwise rotation
- Position
:
Anticlockwise rotation
- Position „AUTO":
Rotation in both directions
Some automatic watches can only be wound in one direction. Please find the appro-
priate information in your watch's manual.
For watches with a glass housing and a visible rotor, the rotation can also be deter-
mined when turning the rotor by movement of the watch. The direction, in which it is
more difficult to move the rotor, is the one used to wind the watch.
• The speed switch (2) is used to set the number of turns per day:
- Position 650
650 turns per day in 13 cycles (110 min. per cycle)
- Position 900
900 turns per day in 18 cycles (80 min. per cycle)
- Position 1200
1,200 turns per day in 24 cycles (60 min. per cycle)
- Position 1500
1,500 turns per day in 30 cycles (48 min. per cycle)
Each cycle has 50 turns, then rest.
Your watch manufacturer's specifications should serve as a guide as to how to find
out the optimal number of turns per day and adjust the settings accordingly.
Care and Cleaning
Disconnect the watch winder from the mains before cleaning it (unplug the power
adapter from the mains socket).
Never use abrasive cleaning agents, cleaning alcohol or other chemical solutions,
since these could damage the housing or even impair operation.
Use a dry, slightly damp, lint-free cloth to clean the product.
Disposal
Electronic devices are recyclable material and do not belong in the household was-
te. Please dispose of the product, when it is no longer of use, according to the
current statutory requirements.
You will thereby fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the
environment.
