tUNING-IN StAtIONS

1. Select Am, Fm or SW (shortwave) channel 1-2 with the
band selector switch. For Fm and SW, fully extend the
telescopic antenna for best reception. When listening to
Am the antenna is not needed because Am reception
uses an internal ferrite bar antenna.
2. Tune Am and Fm stations with the tUNE knob, and tune
in SW (shortwave) with the 2-position switch.
SW1 5.8–7.7 Mhz
SW2 9.4–12.3 MHz
CELL PHONE CHARGING
To charge the cell phone from the radio's Li-Poly battery, use
the cell phone's USB charging cord to connect it to the radio's
large USB socket (under the rubber cover on the bottom of
the radio).
Turn the band selector knob to CELL. The indicator light
will turn ON. The cell phone's battery charging indicator will
show that it's charging. When fully charged, it provides 20
minutes of talk time. If internal battery is completely drain,
turn the crank for 7 minutes at 130 rpm to charge the cell
phone enough to talk for about 5 minutes.

USING tHE LIGHt

Turn the light on and off with the light switch button, located
on top of the unit, near the light.
EARPHONE JACK
Plug in earphones (not included). Sound is heard from both sides
in monaural (mono). Always turn down the volume before
using earphones.
