Intended use
The product is intended for drying and styling wet natural hair. This travel hair dryer can be
folded for saving space. It features two power settings and one cold setting for long-lasting
looks. The styling nozzle can be removed as needed. For storage, the hair dryer can be
attached by its suspension eye.
The product is only suitable for connection to a 220 – 240 V/AC, 50 Hz alternating voltage
isolated ground receptacle.
It is intended for indoor use only. Do not use it outdoors. Avoid contact with moisture at all costs.
For safety and approval purposes (CE), you must not rebuild and/or modify this product. If you
use the product for purposes other than those described above, the product may be damaged.
In addition, improper use can cause hazards such as short-circuiting, fire, electric shock etc.
Read the instructions carefully and keep them for future reference. Make this product available
to third parties only together with its operating instructions.

Description of symbols

The symbol with the crossed-out bathtub forbids using the device in bathtubs,

Important safety instructions
• This appliance can be used by children 8 years old
and above and by persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience
and/or knowledge only if they are given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe
way and understand the hazards involved.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do
not play with the device.
• Children must not perform cleaning and user
maintenance, unless they are above 8 years old and
supervised.
• Keep the product and its mains cable out of reach of
children below 8 years.
• The device is intended for household use and similar
applications, such as
- in staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other
commercial environments
- in farm houses
- by clients in hotels, motels and other residential
environments
- in bed and breakfast places.
The device is not intended for commercial use.
• Never immerse the product including its mains cable
in water or other liquids! The product must not be
exposed to liquids. Protect it from dripping/splashing.
There is the risk of electric shock.
• To prevent risks, damaged power cables may only be
replaced by the manufacturer, a professional workshop
appointed by the manufacturer, or a similarly qualified
person.
Safety instructions
Read the operating instructions carefully and especially observe the safety
information. If you do not follow the safety instructions and information on
proper handling in these operating instructions, we assume no liability for any
resulting personal injury or damage to property. Such cases will invalidate the
warranty/guarantee.
• The product is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
• Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. These may become
dangerous playing material for children.
• Protect the product from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, strong jolts, high
humidity, moisture, flammable gases, vapors and solvents.
• Do not place the product under any mechanical stress.
• If it is no longer possible to operate the product safely, take it out of operation and
protect it from any accidental use. Safe operation can no longer be guaranteed
if the product:
- is visibly damaged,
- is no longer working properly,
- has been stored for extended periods in poor ambient conditions or
- has been subjected to any serious transport-related stresses.
• Please handle the product carefully. Jolts, impacts or a fall even from a low height
can damage the product.

WARNING – Do not use the device near bathtubs, showers, basins or
other containers filled with water. When using the device in bathrooms,
disconnect it from the mains after use. The proximity to water poses a
hazard, even if the device has been switched off.
• Installing a residual current device with a rated trip current of maximum 30 mA into
the electrical circuit of the bathroom will provide additional protection. In case of
doubts, contact your electrician.
• Never touch the product with moist or wet hands during use. Do not operate the
product when standing on a wet floor. There is the risk of electric shock.
• Only use for drying human hair. The product is not suitable for drying artificial hair,
as such might not withstand high temperatures. This poses a fire hazard!
• Before plugging in the device, verify that the information on the product's rating
plate correspond with your household power supply.
• Never leave the product running unattended.
• Do not insert any sharp metal objects into the air inlet grille or air outlet. There is
a risk of electric shock!
• Unwrap the power cable fully during use. If not fully unwounded, the mains cable
can cause overheating. This poses a fire hazard!
