because of safety reasons.
When connecting the car speakers, the safety instructions applying to the device the
speakers are to be connected to have to be heeded as well.
Do not keep magnetic storage devices, such as floppy disks, video tapes etc. near
by the car speakers, because the magnetic field of the speakers might destroy the
information recorded on these storage devices.
Please avoid listening to music at full volume for a longer period of time. Bad hearing
might be the consequence.
Excessive volume inside the car impairs perception of acoustic warnings, which will
put yourself and other road users in danger. Therefore, please adapt the volume of
your car radio to the traffic situation.
Careless driving might cause serious accidents. Therefore, only set your car stereo,
if the traffic situation allows for safe operation and you are not distracted from road
traffic.
Avoid exposing the car speakers to strong mechanical stress.
The car speakers must not be exposed to extreme temperatures, intensive vibrations
or humidity.
Make sure that you have not left any packing material, plastic foils or bags, poly-
styrene parts etc. within the reach of children. These could be dangerous toys.
If you have any doubts concerning the correct connection of the appliance or if
you have questions that are not referred to in the operating manual, please
contact our technical advisory service or another qualified person.
