Safety Instructions

Intended Use

❐ The device is intended for massaging your back/buttocks and thighs and is used for relaxation.
It is not a replacement for medically required treatment.
❐ This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with re-
duced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they
have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and
understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user
maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision. It must only be supplied at
safety extra low voltage corresponding to the marking on the appliance.
❐ Children younger than 8 years of age and animals must be kept away from the device and the
connecting cable.
❐ The device is for personal use only and is not intended for commercial applications.
❐ Use the device only as described in the instructions. Any other use is deemed to be improper.
❐ The device is not designed to be operated with an external timer or a separate remote
control system.

Dangers of Injury

❐ The device is not a toy. Do not leave it unattended in the vicinity of children and animals.
❐ Keep children and animals away from the packaging material.
❐ The device may only be used by people who are able to handle the controller.
❐ Pregnant women should not use the device or use it only after consultation with their doctor.
❐ People with a pacemaker may use the device only after consultation with their doctor.
❐ Babies and sleeping or unconscious people may not be placed on the device.
❐ People who have no feeling in their neck or back or people with circulation problems may
not use the device.
❐ Do not use the device on swelling or sore areas of skin.
❐ When the heat function is switched on, the device has a hot surface. People who due to ill-
ness or for other reasons are not sensitive to heat must not use the heat function.
❐ If you have any health problems, consult your doctor before using the device.

Set-Up and Connection

❐ This device may not be operated in rooms with high humidity, such as bathrooms.
❐ Do not expose the device to extreme temperatures, strong temperature fl uctuations, direct
sunlight or moisture.
❐ Maintain a suffi cient distance from sources of heat, such as hobs or ovens.
❐ Ensure that the device cannot fall into water or become wet.
❐ If liquid enters the device, remove the mains plug immediately. Have the device checked by a
specialist workshop before putting it into operation again.
❐ Use the device only in enclosed spaces.
❐ Always place the device on a dry and fi rm surface.
❐ Only ever use the mains adapter which is supplied. Do not use the adapter for other devices.
