caused by the improper use or non-compliance with the safety instruc-
tions! In such cases, the warranty will be null and void!
• For safety reasons, any unauthorised conversion and/or modification of
the product is not permitted.
• This installation manual does not apply to all vehicle types. Due to the huge
number of manufacturers and automotive makes, the following installa-
tion steps should serve as general guidelines. In case of vehicle-specific
questions, please contact the car manufacturer or a specialist workshop.
• The camera is solely intended to help with reverse driving. It does not ab-
solve the driver from his or her responsibility to drive carefully. The cam-
era's operating principles may mean that some obstacles are not shown,
or are not reliably shown. The manufacturer accepts no liability for dam-
ages arising from such a case.
• A reverse driving system is intended to increase the safety and protection.
It is not intended to replace other safe driving habits. Thorough checking
and looking around before reversing is recommended. This applies espe-
cially in the vicinity of pedestrians or in areas with traffic that crosses the
direction of reverse travel as well as for use in darkness or glaring light.
The device's operating principles may mean that some obstacles are not
detected, or are not reliably detected.
• When installing and operating the daytime running lights, always observe
the applicable motor vehicle regulations and road traffic regulations.
Get yourself familiarised before driving in a foreign country, whether the
mounting, mounting location and operation of the camera is permitted and
does not violate applicable laws or ordinances.
• The function of the camera can be affected by heavy dirt or precipitation
on the lens.
• Improper mounting and cabling of the camera can lead to damage of the
electrical system of the vehicle, including important computer and operat-
ing systems. This could also lead to an accident or fire, which could result
in material damage and/or serious personal injury. We recommend having
a qualified automotive electrician carry out the installation and connec-
tion.
• Only a compatible monitor with a 12 V DC output for the camera (for exam-

camera to any other voltage supply.
• Extra care should be taken when starting up the product. Therefore,
please follow the operating instructions carefully.

Installation and electrical connection

The camera can be used as a rear-view or side-view camera depending where it is
installed.
Modifications to the vehicle made necessary due to the installation of the
product or other components must always be carried out in such a manner
that neither the traffic safety nor the design stability of the vehicle are im-
paired.
The camera is designed for installation on the rear or the sides of the ve-
hicle. If it is installed on the front side of the vehicle, damage from stone
strikes cannot be excluded. The warranty will be void!
When installing your camera, take into consideration the risks that can
arise from components being torn away in the event of an accident. There-
fore, fasten each part securely and in a location where it will not pose a
risk to persons.
Before drilling, make sure that this will not lead to any damage to electric
cables, brake leads, the fuel tank or similar.
If you drill holes in the body of your vehicle, the shavings must be removed,
and the bare metal areas must be protected against corrosion using suita-
ble measures (colour, preserving spray, etc.).
The camera should not obstruct the vehicle's rear lights or any other part
of the vehicle's equipment, and it should not protrude from the vehicle con-
tour.
