Operation
In order to avoid distortions or maladjustments that could damage the
USB microphone, the product must only be connected to a suitable USB
interface. Refer to the connection values under "Technical data".
Make sure there is suitable audio recording software installed and opened
on the computer.
If the USB microphone does not work, even though the LED operating
control lamp (2) lights up, open the sound settings on your computer and
set the USB microphone as standard audio playback device.
Do not over-tighten the screw connections. Over-tightening can cause
damage to the threads and adversely affect stability.
• Place the thread connector (4) on a 15.9 mm (5/8") thread of a microphone tripod or
stand (not included) and screw both parts together.
When using a microphone tripod or stand with 9.5 mm (3/8") thread, first connect
the provided screw adapter and then screw the USB microphone onto the
microphone tripod or stand.
• Ensure stability when installing the microphone tripod or stand.
• Loosen the hexagon socket screw on the microphone joint (3) by turning it slightly
anticlockwise. To do so, use a suitable Allen wrench (not included). Align the USB
microphone to the desired angle. Then retighten the hexagon socket screw turning
it clockwise.
• Reduce the volume of the computer.
• Connect the type B plug of the USB 2.0 cable to the USB port (5).
• Connect the type A plug to an available USB port on your computer. The LED
operating control lamp (2) lights up.
• Wait for your operating system to recognize and install the new hardware. That
will be done automatically.
• Adjust the volume on your computer connected with the USB microphone.
