En cas d´inutilisation prolongé, éteindre l´ordinateur. Amener pour cela l´inter-
rupteur secteur situe au dos de l´ordinateur en position « 0 ».
Lorsque l´ordinateur est éteint uniquement par le poussoir Power, situé en
façade du boîtier, celui-ci se trouve en mode stand-by (similaire à une télévi-
sion).
Dans ce cas, le bloc d´alimentation accuse une consommation de courant,
même relativement faible ; un faible échauffement est donc normal.
Afin d´économiser cette énergie inutilement « consommée » (en mode de
stand-by prolongé, quelques kWh (kilowattheures) peuvent s´accumuler par
mois, il est donc recommandé d´utiliser un bloc multiprise muni d´un interrup-
teur de marche/arrêt.
Il est possible d´y brancher également d´autres appareils avec une « consom-
mation de courant » en mode stand-by.
Il existe également les dits « power manager » qui peuvent être placés sous
l´écran. Il s´agit de boîtiers plats dans lesquels sont intégrés au dos des prises
de courant et en façade des interrupteurs de marche/arrêt.
Ne pas retirer la fiche de la prise de courant en tirant sur le câble ! Retirer tou-
jours la fiche de la prise de courant en la saisissant au niveau des surfaces de
préhension latérales.
Ne jamais toucher l´ordinateur, le câble de réseau et le connecteur avec
les mains humides ou mouillées ! Risque d'électrocution mortelle!

Set up the product in such a manner that it cannot fall over. There is risk of
injury through its weight.
Never connect the product to an external power unit immediately after it has
been taken from a cold room to a warm one.
The condensation arising can, under certain circumstances, lead to distur-
bances in the function or to damage; apart from this, there is risk of an electric
shock.
Allow the complete product to reach room temperature before you con-
nect it to the mains voltage. This can take several hours!
Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. In the hands of chil-
dren, plastic foil and/or bags and polystyrene parts etc. can turn into danger-
ous toys.
Servicing, adjustment or repair work may only be carried out by a
specialist/specialist workshop.
With ATX mother boards, pressing the on/off button on the front of the housing
will switch the PC into standby mode. The power unit is, that is, not discon-
nected from the mains voltage (similarly to a TV in standby mode).
To switch off the power unit completely, the mains switch on the back of the
computer housing should be switched to the position "0".
This is important above all during electrical storms which are a hazard for any
electrical device. Therefore, in case of a storm, switch off the power unit with
the mains switch on the back of the computer housing and pull the mains plug
out of the mains socket.
On the accessories market, there are diverse products which can reduce the
risk for electrical devices, e.g. overvoltage filters or similar lightening protection
devices. There is, however, no 100% security against damage in the case of
being struck by lightening, even through the use of these devices.
On the housing there are sharp edges in spite of the good processing there is
risk of injury! Proceed as follows for installation:
In commercial institutions, the accident prevention regulations of the Employ-
er's Liability Insurance Association for Electrical Systems and Operating Mate-
rials are to be observed..
In schools, training centres, computer and self-help workshops, use of the
product must be supervised by trained personnel in a responsible manner.
Handle the product with care. It can be damaged through impact, blows or by
being dropped even from a low height.
