Functional description

The 2.4 GHz audio radio transmission system consists of a transmitter which is
connected to the loudspeaker outlets of an audio appliance and a receiver, to which
the loudspeakers are directly connected for playback.
In the transmitter, the audio signal is conditioned and transferred to the receiver via radio.
The receiver converts the radio signal back into an audio signal, and amplifies it so
that it can be played back via the connected loudspeakers.
The radio transmission and the amplification are conducted digitally, in order to
ensure that the quality is as free as possible of interference, and has an excellent
tone.
8 radio channels are available. These prevent interference from other radio-suppor-
ted appliances.
An automatic signal recognition only switches on the system when an audio signal is
received, and therefore helps to save energy.

Initial operation

To ensure correct initial operation, please read these operating
instructions and the safety instructions carefully before using the
system.
Before connecting the radio transmission system, disconnect the
system itself and all other appliances which are to be connected
from the mains power supply.
Proceed in the same way when changing the wiring.

Set-up

There should be no devices with strong electrical fields such as
mobile telephones, radios and electrical motors etc. in the vicinity
of the radio transmission system.
The system can also be influenced by interference ("radiation")
through tuners, TV sets, microwaves etc. Make sure there is as
great a distance as possible to such devices.
Steel concrete walls and proximity to strong electrical or electro-
magnetic fields such as those that occur with electromotors,
radio systems, etc. also have the effect of reducing the range.
In view of the variety of paints and polishes used for furniture, the
base of the device may leave visible residues on the furniture it is
placed on due to a chemical reaction. For this reason, the devices
should not be placed on valuable furniture without appropriate pro-
tection.

Mains connection

Before connecting the radio transmission system to the mains,
make sure that the connected amplifier is switched off.
Plug the low-voltage plug of the power
unit included in the delivery into the
connection jack for the plug-in power
unit (5) on the transmitter.
Plug the power unit into a standard
domestic wall socket.
Plug the power unit of the receiver into a
standard domestic wall socket.
Operation
After having made the connection and checked the cabling again, you may operate
the 2.4 GHz audio radio transmission system for the first time.
Switch on your audio amplifier and start
the playback function.
When you switch off the audio amplifier,
the playback is ended.
If reception is faulty or does not suc-
ceed, press the channel selection key (7)
on the lower side of the receiver repea-
tedly until the system is functioning cor-
rectly.
The status display on the transmitter (4)
lights up blue.
The status display on the receiver (1)
lights up blue.
The connected loudspeakers play back
the sound.
The radio transmission system does not
need to be switched off, but switches
automatically to standby mode after
approx. 10 minutes.
When the audio amplifier is switched
back on, the transmitter and receiver are
also activated automatically.
As a result, another radio channel is sel-
ected, and interference which may
occur e.g. from other radio-supported
appliances, is avoided.
