Connect the mains socket (3) of
the signal converter POF-820/
830 with the low-voltage output
of a suitable mains unit.
Handling
Never plug the mains unit into the mains socket immediately after
bringing it from a cold room into a heated room. Condensation
water will develop and might destroy your device.
Leave the device plugged out until it has reached room temperature.
Wait until the condensation water has evaporated.
Main units must never be plugged in or unplugged with wet hands.
Never unplug mains units by pulling at the cable, but always use the
gripping surface provided for this purpose.
Unplug the mains unit if you do not use the device for a longer peri-
od of time.
For safety reasons, unplug the device during thunderstorms.
Never replace defective connecting lines of mains units by yourself.
Separate the device from the network and take it to an expert work-
shop.
Maintenance
Check the optical signal converter regularly for e. g. damages of the
housing. If there is reason to believe that safe operation has become
