Bluetooth adapter for vehicles

Intended use
The product receives audio signals from Bluetooth
signals to a car radio via cable. The built-in USB charging port allows for charging
USB devices with a max. current input of 2100 mA. Power is supplied via cigarette
lighter socket of a vehicle.
The product is only suitable for use in dry indoor areas.
For safety and approval purposes (CE), you must not rebuild and/or modify this
product. If you use the product for purposes other than those described above, the
product may be damaged. In addition, improper use can cause hazards such as short
circuiting, fire, electric shock etc. Read the instructions carefully and keep them for
future reference. Make this product available to third parties only together with its
operating instructions.

Safety instructions
Read the operating instructions carefully and especially observe the safety
information. If you do not follow the safety instructions and information on
proper handling in theses operating instructions, we assume no liability
for any resulting personal injury or damage to property. Such cases will
invalidate the warranty/guarantee.
• The device is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
• Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. These may
become dangerous playing material for children.
• Protect the product from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, strong
jolts, high humidity, moisture, flammable gases, vapours and solvents.
• Do not place the product under any mechanical stress.
• If it is no longer possible to operate the product safely, take it out of
operation and protect it from any accidental use. Safe operation can no
longer be guaranteed if the product:
- is visibly damaged,
- is no longer working properly,
- has been stored for extended periods in poor ambient conditions or
- has been subjected to any serious transport-related stresses.
• Please handle the product carefully. Jolts, impacts or a fall even from a
low height can damage the product.
• Also observe the safety and operating instructions of any other devices
which are connected to the product.
• Switch off your USB device before connecting it to or disconnecting it
from the USB charging port.
• Disconnect the product from the cigarette lighter socket if not using it for
a longer period of time.
• The product gets hot during use. Ensure sufficient ventilation and never
cover the product during use.

• Never use the product immediately after it has been brought from a cold
room into a warm one. The condensation generated could destroy the
product. Allow the device to reach room temperature before connecting
and using it. This may take several hours.
• Never leave the product and any connected USB devices unattended
during use.
• Consult a professional if you require assistance with product operation,
safety or connection.
• Maintenance work, adjustments and repairs may be carried out only by a
professional or at a specialist workshop.
• If you have questions which remain unanswered by these operating
instructions, contact our technical support service or other technical
personnel.
Operation
a) Analogue connection
• Connect the audio cable to the respective socket on the product.
• Connect the other end of the audio cable to the corresponding 3.5 mm audio input
of a car radio. If your car radio features another audio input, use a suitable adapter
(not included).
• Plug the product into the cigarette lighter socket of a vehicle.
• The LED indicator lamp flashes one time indicating that the product is ready for use.
b) Pairing
• Activate the Bluetooth function on your mobile device.

• Select "Music Receiver" from the list of available devices.
• If requested, enter the password 0000.
Not all devices require a password.
c) Notes on transmission via Bluetooth
• Some devices (e.g. iPhone) establish the connection immediately after pairing. The
LED indicator lamp lights up steadily in such a case.
• Other devices (e.g. notebook) require a confirmation for establishing the connection.
In such case, the LED indicator lamp turns off after pairing and only lights up again
after the connection has been established successfully.
• The product features a memory for a maximum of 8 devices. Nevertheless, the
product can only output the audio signal of one device at a time.
• Before adding a new device to the memory, you need to deactivate the Bluetooth
function on any device that might be connected to the product.
• Once playback has started, the sound system of the vehicle will transmit the audio
signal.
• If you leave the operating range or deactivate the Bluetooth
mobile device, the connection will be cancelled. To reconnect, select "Music
Receiver" from the list of available devices. In such a case you do not need to
re-enter the password; the connection will be established automatically.
• When the LED indicator lamp starts flashing, all connections to previously paired
devices have been cancelled.
• When the LED indicator lamp lights up steadily, one of the paired devices has been
connected to the product and you can start playback.
