8. Charging the rechargeable battery

Before using the diving scooter, make sure it is fully charged. When using the diving scooter for the fi rst
time, it is imperative to charge it, as it has only been partially charged before leaving the factory.
• The supplied battery charger is only intended to be used with a mains voltage of 230V~/50Hz.
• Never use any other battery charger than the one supplied for the diving scooter.
• Make certain that the diving scooter is totally dry before you begin charging it.
• The battery charger must never get wet. The battery charger may only be used in indoor areas.
• The battery charger should not be exposed to direct sunlight.
• Charging may only be done in temperatures between 0 and (maximum) +40 °C.
• To charge the battery, insert the necessary connection cable (11) (Euro or GB) into the battery charger
(12).
• Then, insert the charger cable (13) into the charging and start socket (9) on the diving scooter. When
doing this, make sure that the arrow marked on the charger input (13) is pointing upwards.
• Now insert the connection cable (11) into the socket.
