4. Safety Instructions

The warranty will be void in the event of damage caused by failure to observe these
safety instructions! We do not assume any liability for any consequential damage!
We do not assume any liability for material and personal damage caused by improper
use or non-compliance with the safety instructions. The warranty will be void in such
cases.
• The diving scooter may not be modifi ed or converted, as this will make both the CE approval and the
warranty/guarantee void.
• After any rapid change in temperature, the diving scooter requires some time to stabilise, in order to
adjust to the ambient temperature, before it can be used.
• Electronic devices are not toys and should be kept out of the reach of children!
• If you are unsure about the safety or proper use of the diving scooter, please contact a qualifi ed special-
ist.
• Never leave the packaging material lying around unattended. Plastic fi lm/bags etc. can be dangerous
playthings for children; there is a risk of suffocation.
• Do not insert fi ngers or other items into the device.
• Handle the product with care; it can be damaged by impact, blows, or accidental dropping, even from
a low height.
• If you have reason to assume that safe operation is no longer possible, disconnect the device immedi-
ately and secure it against inadvertent operation.
• It can be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible if:
- the device is visibly damaged,
- the device does not function any longer and
- the device has been stored under unfavourable conditions for a long period of time or
- it has been subjected to considerable stress during transportation.
• Maintenance, adjustment and repair may only be carried out by a qualifi ed specialist or a specialised
repair shop.
• Also observe any further safety instructions in the individual sections of this operating guide.
• If you have any questions, which are not answered in this manual, please contact our technical service
or another specialist.
