Initial operation

Carefully read the complete operating manual and the safety
instructions before using the product in order to ensure proper
commissioning.
Installation
The audio/video transmitter set should not be placed in the vici-
nity of devices with strong electrical fields, such as cell phones,
radio sets and electrical motors, etc.
The system can also be influenced by interference ("radiation")
through tuners, TV sets etc. Make sure the system is as far as
possible from such devices.
Steel concrete walls and proximity to strong electrical or electro-
magnetic fields such as those that occur with electromotors,
radio systems, etc. also have the effect of reducing the range.
In view of the variety of paints and polishes used for furniture, the base
of the appliance may leave visible residues on the furniture it is placed
on as a result of the chemical reaction. For this reason, the devices
should not be placed on valuable furniture without appropriate protec-
tion.
• Place the transmitter near the AV source device (such as a DVD player) and the
receiver near the playback device (such as the TV set).
• There must be an outlet each for the power packs in proximity to the transmitter
and the receiver.
Connection of signal in and outputs
The audio/video transmitter set can be connected to your devices via the scart
connection or the S-video connections. The S-video connections provide a slightly
better image quality.
