b) Switch on/off
• Press the "ON/OFF" button briefl y to switch on the dehumidifi er. The dehumidifi er emits a signal tone and
the display notice appears; moreover, the background illumination is activated for about 15 seconds. The
dehumidifi er begins to work.
If only the "
" symbol appears, the water tank is full (or not correctly inserted) and the dehumidifi er does
not work. Turn off the dehumidifi er and empty the water tank and/or insert it properly at fi rst.
• Press the "ON/OFF" button once again to turn off. The dehumidifi er emits a signal tone and the display
turns off. The dehumidifi er is now in standby mode.
c) Select operating mode and perform the settings
• Turn on the dehumidifi er at fi rst by pressing the "ON/OFF" button, see b).
• By pressing the "MODE" button several times, you can switch between the following functions:
Automatic dehumidifi cation
If this symbol fl ashes, press the "SETTING" button so many times until the desired humidity is indi-
cated in the display to the right of the button (40 to 80% relative humidity with 5% increment can be
set).
Do not press any button for a few seconds, so that the dehumidifi er assumes the setting automati-
cally.
If the measured humidity is 1% below the value set by you, the dehumidifi er is turned off.
If the measured humidity is more than 5% above the value set by you, the dehumidifi er is restarted.
Set fan speed
If this symbol fl ashes, you can switch between "L" (low fan speed) and "H" (high fan speed) by
pressing the "SETTING" button.
Do not press any button for a few seconds, so that the dehumidifi er assumes the setting automati-
cally.
The dehumidifi cation performance is lower at low fan speed.
If the dehumidifi er measures a temperature of 32 °C or more, it is automatically switched to the
high fan speed.
Continuous operation
If this symbol fl ashes, permanent operation is activated by pressing the "SETTING" button; the
symbol stops to fl ash.
d) Timer function
• Mode 1: The dehumidifi er is turned off (no notice in the display, standby mode)
If the dehumidifi er is turned off, you can set the time by pressing the "TIMER" button repeatedly; the
dehumidifi er is restarted after the lapse of this set time.
• Mode 2: Dehumidifi er is turned on
If the dehumidifi er is turned on, you can set the operating time of the dehumidifi er by pressing the "TIMER"
button repeatedly. Following the lapse of the set time, the dehumidifi er turns off (standby mode).
For turning off the timer function before the set time, press the "TIMER" button so many times
until the time indicator of the timer disappears from the display.
e) Automatic defrost function
Room temperatures below 16 °C can lead to ice formation in the dehumidifi er. Therefore, the dehumidifi er
automatically activates the defrost function during operation.
The dehumidifi er operates for about 25 minutes as usual; then the dehumidifi cation is deactivated for about
7 minutes (the compressor is turned off) and only the fan operates at high speed.
Instead of the "
" symbol (dehumidifi cation), the "
f) Water tank is full
A small piece of hard foam with an integrated magnet is placed in the water tank. When the water tank
reaches its full capacity, it activates a safety control circuit that prevents it from overfl owing. The dehumidifi er
is turned off automatically.
The "
" symbol (water tank full) appears in the display.
The dehumidifi er also emits a warning tone every 10 minutes.
Switch off the dehumidifi er and pull out the mains plug from the mains socket. Subsequently, remove the
water tank from the back and empty it. Replace it in the dehumidifi er.
The dehumidifi er can then be reconnected to the mains voltage and restarted.
g) Protection against too high and/or low ambient temperature
If the temperature sensor in the suction area of the dehumidifi er measures an air temperature of less than
0 °C or higher than +40 °C, the dehumidifi er is automatically switched off and a warning tone is activated.
If a temperature >= +40 °C is measured by the vaporiser, the dehumidifi er is automatically turned off and
the "
" symbol appears.
If one of the safety functions described above is activated, then all buttons on the dehumidifi er
are disabled.
For restoring the safety function, you must disconnect the dehumidifi er briefl y from the mains
voltage (pull out the mains plug from the mains socket for a couple of seconds).
" symbol (defrosting) appears.
Using the discharge hose
The water extracted by the dehumidifi er from the air usually fl ows directly into the removable water tank at
the back.
However, longer operation requires daily inspection and probable emptying of the water tank.
The water can also drain off directly via the discharge hose included in the delivery, e.g. into a suitable
sewage pipe or a sink.
The dehumidifi er should be at a higher elevation than the discharge hose and the entire hose
may not lie higher than the drain hole at the back, so that the water can drain off.
If this is not observed, the water does not drain off via the discharge hose!

Maintenance and Cleaning

• The product does not require maintenance. The product contains no parts that require servicing. There-
fore, do not open/dismantle it. Maintenance or repairs may only be performed by qualifi ed personnel or a
specialised workshop.
• Prior to any cleaning work, the dehumidifi er should be switched off and disconnected from the mains volt-
age by pulling out the mains plug from the mains socket.
• Remove the water tank and empty it completely. Avoid mould formation by washing the water tank regu-
larly using a mild cleaning agent. Depending on the operating time, we recommend you to clean the water
tank approximately once a month.
• The air fi lter at the back prevents excess dust from entering the dehumidifi er. Check the air fi lter regularly
and clean it, if required; otherwise, the air throughput as well as the dehumidifi cation performance will
decrease.
The air fi lter allows cleaning in the assembled (or dismantled) condition using a vacuum cleaner.
Alternatively, the air fi lter should be taken out (remove the safety lattice at the back beforehand) and rinsed
with clear and clean water. Then let the air fi lter to dry completely before remounting it in the dehumidifi er.
Never operate the dehumidifi er without the air fi lter; otherwise, dust and dirt can settle in the
dehumidifi er and permanently reduce the dehumidifi cation performance!
• The exterior of the dehumidifi er can be wiped with a clean, soft and dry cloth. Do not apply too much pres-
sure, as this could result in scratch marks.
Do not use abrasive cleaning agents, cleaning alcohol or other chemical solutions, since these
could damage the housing or even impair operation.
Disposal
Dispose of an unserviceable product in accordance with the relevant statutory regulations.
