Installation

Pay attention to the chapter "Safety Instructions"!
• The LED light can be mounted to e.g. a concrete base or another level surface by
using the foot.
Use screws and plugs that are suitable for the surface.
Alternatively, the LED spotlight can be installed in the garden at a suitable position
by means of the ground spike enclosed. For this purpose, the ground spike has to
be attached to the foot of the LED spotlight using a screw.
Protect the LED spotlight from salt water (e.g. in the winter), as it may lead to corro-
sion!
• Place the cable in a way so that nobody can trip over it. Do not step on the cable or
drive over it with a vehicle.
Protect the cable from sharp edges.
When laying the cable belowground, an appropriate protective pipe must be used.
• Position the LED spotlight as needed (e.g. to illuminate building parts or the like)
and then fasten the light at this position.
Keep a minimum distance between the light outlet and illuminated surfaces. The
corresponding minimum distance is indicated on the LED spotlight.
• The mains socket, to which the LED spotlight is connected, must be protected on
the sub-distribution board by a 10/16A fuse. An earth leakage circuit breaker must be
installed before this (FI protective switch).
• The LED spotlight features a mains cable with open ends, to which you can connect
an IP44 mains plug with protective-earth contact.
For the extension of the connection cable (e.g. laying the cable in outdoor areas) a
suitable cable connector is required, which must correspond to IP68.
Pay attention to the correct allocation of the cables (brown cable = L/phase, blue
cable =N/neutral conductor, green/yellow cable = PE/protective ground wire).
The protective ground wire must be connected! If your mains supply does not
have a protective earth, a new supply must be laid! If no protective earth is
available, faults may give rise to a danger of a lethal electric shock! Further-
more, you not only endanger yourself, but others too!
In case of doubt, contact a qualifi ed technician (e.g. electrician) and do not
carry out the connection and assembly yourself!

Maintenance and Care

• The LED spotlight does not require maintenance. The LED spotlight has a long
service life and is irreplaceable.
• Disconnect the LED spotlight from the mains voltage prior to each cleaning, switch
off the mains voltage. Then, allow the LED light to cool down completely.
• The exterior of the LED spotlight should only be wiped with a clean, soft, dry cloth.
Do not use aggressive cleaning agents or chemical solutions that could damage the
housing (discolouring) or impair operation.
To remove persistent stains, moisten the cloth with water.
Do not press too hard on the housing, as scratches might appear. Never direct the jet
of a garden hose or a pressure washer at the LED spotlight!
Disposal
Dispose of the unserviceable product according to the relevant statutory
regulations!
