Installation
See chapter "Safety Instructions"!
• The light must be installed and used out of the reach of children.
• The light can be mounted to a wall or under a ceiling by means of the mounting
bracket. The light can also be mounted e.g. on the fl oor or a concrete base.
Only install the light on a stable surface. Use screws and plugs that are suitable for
the surface.
• The light can be installed outdoors e.g.
in a suitable place in the garden by us-
ing the ground spike.
Push the ground spike deeply into the
ground so that the light stands fi rm and
cannot tip over.
• Adjust the light as desired and fi x it with
the scews at the lateral sides. Maintain
a minimum distance to illuminated sur-
faces; see inscription on the light.
• Install all cables in such a way that nobody may trip over them.
• The mains socket to which the light is connected must be protected on the sub-dis-
tribution board by a 10/16A fuse. An earth leakage circuit breaker must be installed
before this (FI protective switch).
• Insert the bulb before connecting the light with the mains voltage; see chapter "In-
serting/Replacing the bulb".
Inserting/Replacing the Bulb
If a defective bulb must be replaced, disconnect the light from the mains volt-
age fi rst; pull the mains plug out of the socket.
Then allow the light to cool down completely. Attention, risk of burns!
Only insert or replace a bulb in dry conditions or in a dry indoor space so that
humidity (e.g. rain) cannot penetrate the light!
• Open the front cover of the light. To do
this, a total of 4 screws must be un-
screwed.
Then remove the cover carefully, do not
damage the protective glass!
• If required remove the defective bulb.
• Then, insert an E27 bulb (PAR-30) with
max. 100 W.
• Re-assemble the light in reverse order; observe the correct position of the sealing!
• Connect the light with the mains voltage and check its function.

Connection
• Plug the IP44 mains plug into a mains socket.
When using the light outdoors, make sure to use a suitable IP44 mains socket.
The mains socket to which the light is connected must be protected on the sub-dis-
tribution board by a 10/16A fuse. An earth leakage circuit breaker must be installed
before this (FI protective switch).
• If an extension cable is used for connection, the extension cable must be suitable
for outdoor use and must be equipped with IP44 plug, as well.
Caution!
Lethal hazard due to electric shiock, if unsuitable sockets or extension cables
are used outdoors!
Maintenance and Care
• The light requires no servicing on your part apart from occasionally replacement of
the bulb.
• Before cleaning, disconnect the mains plug of the light from the power supply. To
do this, pull the mains plug out of the socket. Then allow the light to cool down
completely.
• The exterior of the light should only be wiped with a clean, soft, dry cloth. Do not use
aggressive cleaning agents or chemical solutions that could damage the housing
(discolouring) or impair operation.
To remove persistent stains, moisten the cloth with water.
Do not press too hard on the housing, as scratches might appear. Never direct the jet
of a garden hose or a pressure washer at the light!
