Camping lamp with power bank

Intended Use
The product is intended to provide lighting independent of mains supply, e.g. while
camping.
The integrated rechargeable battery does not only serve as power supply for the lamp
but you can also charge your mobile phone or similar devices using the USB charging
port.
You can charge the rechargeable battery in the camping lamp e.g. via an external
power supply unit (not enclosed in the package) or via a PC.
The safety instructions must be observed at all times!
Any use other than that described above could lead to damage to this product and
involves the risk of short circuits, fire, electric shock, etc. No part of the product may
be modified or converted!
This product complies with the applicable national and European requirements. All
names of companies and products are the trademarks of the respective owners. All

warranty/guarantee! We do not assume any liability for any resulting dam-
age!

by improper use or non-compliance with the safety instructions. In such
cases, the warranty/guarantee will be null and void.
• The unauthorised conversion and/or modification of the unit is not permit-
ted for safety and approval reasons (CE).
• This product is not a toy and should be kept out of the reach of children!
• The product must not be exposed to extreme temperatures (heat/cold),
strong vibrations or heavy mechanical stress.
Protect it against dust and dirt.
• The product must not become damp or wet.
• Do not use this product in rooms that are under adverse environmental
conditions, where combustible gases, vapours or dust are or may be
present! There is a risk of explosion!
• Caution, LED light: Do not look directly into the LED light! Do not look into
the beam directly or with optical instruments!
• Do not leave packaging material carelessly lying around, since it could
become a dangerous plaything for children.
• Handle the product with care, it can be damaged by impacts, blows, or
accidental falls, even from a low height.
Notes on rechargeable batteries
• Make sure that rechargeable batteries are not opened, short-circuited or thrown
into a fire, as there is a risk of explosion.
• Old or flat rechargeable batteries can leak liquid chemicals that may damage the
device. Leaking or damaged batteries may burn the skin if touched. Under these
circumstances, protect your hands with suitable gloves.
• Liquids leaking from rechargeable batteries are very chemically aggressive. Ob-
jects or surfaces coming into contact with these liquids might be considerably dam-
aged.
• The rechargeable battery in the camping lamp is permanently mounted and cannot
be replaced.

Charging
• Connect the micro USB socket (3) to e.g. a USB power supply unit (for example, the
power supply unit of your mobile phone) or a free USB port on your computer using
the USB cable provided.
If you want to use a USB hub to recharge the camping lamp, the USB hub
should have its own, separate power supply unit. Otherwise, there is not
enough power for the charging process.
• With a completely empty rechargeable battery, the charging procedure lasts at
least 16 - 18 hours. The four LEDs (4) show you the charge leveli.
Over-charging the rechargeable battery is not possible since the internal
charging electronics monitors the charging procedure and ends the proc-
ess early enough. Nevertheless, you should always disconnect the camping
lamp from the power supply unit, USB hub or PC after completion of the
charging procedure.
With initial start-up the full capacity of the rechargeable battery is reached
after 5 - 6 complete discharging and charging cycles.
Displaying the charge level
• Briefly press the operating key (5). The four LEDs (4) then indicate the charge level.
1LED:
25%
2 LEDs: 50%
3 LEDs 75%
4 LEDs: 100%
• The LEDs (4) go out automatically after a few seconds.
Using LED light
• The camping lamp can be hung up on a tent pole or similar using the pivoting hanger
(1).
Alternatively, you can place the camping lamp on a horizontal, stable surface.
• Slightly pull out the upper part of the hanger (see arrow in
the right image) so that matted light head is visible.
• Switch the camping lamp on using the operating key (5).
To this end, press and hold down the button for about 1 second until the LED light
lights up.
• To switch the lamp off press and hold down the button for about 1 second, until the
LED light goes out.
