6. Integration in Amazon Alexa
To be able to control the smart socket with Amazon Alexa,
the mimoodz app and the Alexa app must be installed
on the same terminal device, and the smart socket you
require must be connected to the mimoodz app.
• Install the Amazon Alexa app on your smartphone/tablet
and then start it. Open the menu in the Alexa app by
tapping the three-bar icon and select Skills.
• Enter mimoodz in the search screen to find the
mimoodz skill. Select the mimoodz skill and enable it
by tapping the ENABLE button.
• After the skill has been enabled, enter the login data for
your mimoodz account. Then confirm with Link Now.

• Open the menu in the Alexa app by tapping the three-
bar icon and select Smart Home.
• Tap the Devices button and then tap Discover.
• If the search is successful, your WiFi socket adapter(s)
will now be displayed under the name you used in the
mimoodz app.
• You can now create groups, in order to control several
smart devices (for example, several power sockets or
power sockets and LED(s)) all at once.
