The low-voltage plug must have a diameter of 5.5 x 2.5 mm. Ensure correct polarity!
Polarity inversion involves immediate damaging of the product!
Battery replacement:
If the LED LowBatt (16) lights, the battery has to be replaced.
Environmental note!
The user is legally obliged (old battery regulation) to return all
used batteries (from round cells to lead storage batteries) to a
specialist dealer's shop where there are special facilities (collec-
ting boxes). It is forbidden to dispose of batteries in the garbage
bin or litter.
You can return your used batteries and storage batteries free of char-
ge either to our subsidiaries or to our central office in Hirschau or
reusable-waste facilities which are obliged to take back old batteries.

Operation
Plug the cable to be measured into your PC Cable Tester. Please make sure that one
end is plugged into the input and the other end into the output.
Switch on your PC Cable via the sliding switch (34).
Select the number of cables to be measured via key (20). The cables are indicated
via the LEDs (19).
To test the shielding, please press key (20), until the TXG LED (15) lights.
Now, you can activate an automatic testing of the individual cables via key (33) or
perform this manually via key (21). The automatic testing speed can be set with
potentiometer (32).
The LEDs (18) indicate the output and the LEDs (17) indicate the connection of the
cable with the input.
For correct cable connection, please refer to the instructions of the cable manufac-
turer.
