• Sturdy footwear must be worn. We also recommend wearing protective gloves!
• The device is not suitable for unattended operation.
• Children under the age of 16 as well as persons who are not familiar with the operating instructions must
not use this device.
• To avoid damage as the result of improper use, observe and retain these operating instructions!
• If passing on the device to someone else, these operating instructions must also be passed on!
• Use only genuine spare and accessory parts designed for the device. Never use worn, modified or faulty
spare or accessory parts!

c) Safety information for connecting the device

WARNING!
Danger of death from electric shock! There is a danger of death in the event of contact with live
cables or components! You must observe the following safety information:
• Only connect the device to the AC supply of the public power supply grid using an earthing contact
socket outlet. The mains voltage must be consistent with the voltage specification (V) on the device!
• In the event of damage to the mains cable, the cable may only replaced by a specialist repair centre
nominated by the manufacturer. Please contact the manufacturer or its customer service department in
order to ensure professional repair and to prevent hazards from occurring!
• When using an extension cable, the cable must be suitable for outdoor use and have a wire cross-
section of at least 1.5 mm
• Use of a residual current device with a rated trip current not exceeding 30 mA can provide additional
protection. Ask your electrician if one is already installed and/or if one may be installed by qualified
personnel.
• The mains plug must be disconnected:
- In the event of a malfunction during operation.
- Before cleaning
- After use

d) Safety information for handling and operating the device

WARNING!

the live device and water! You must observe the following safety information:
• Do not use the device with wet hands. Do not plug the mains plug into a mains socket with wet hands.
There is a risk of electric shock!
• Do not immerse the device in water or spray/clean the device with water. The device must be protected
from wet. In the event that device falls into water, remove the mains plug immediately. Do not reach
into the water if the device is still connected! If liquid or an object enters the interior of the device
nevertheless, first power down the respective socket (e.g. switch off circuit breaker) and then pull the
mains plug from the mains socket. Discontinue use and take the product to a specialist repair centre.
