• Do not leave the device unsupervised during operation.
• Children are unaware of the dangers that may arise when handling electric
devices. Keep children away from the device. Be especially careful when using the device when
children are in the vicinity!
• Keep packaging material, such as plastic bags and expanded polystyrene pieces out of the reach
of children. Risk of choking!
• Never use the device when there is any sign of damage, when it has fallen down or fails to work
perfectly.
• Regularly check the device, power cord as well as the mains plug for any sign of damage. Do
not use the device under any circumstances if you have detected any damage. Never attempt to
repair the device yourself.
• Repairs must only be carried out by a suitably qualified specialist engineer.
• Do not use the device as a stand on which to rest decorative objects e.g. vases or similar, which
may fall onto the device.
• Be careful to ensure that a minimum distance of 10 cm is kept at the sides, in order to ensure
sufficient air circulation.
• During storms or extended periods of disuse (e.g. holidays) unplug from the mains. In the case of
extended periods of disuse, also remove the batteries from the remote control.
• The device is only for use in private households and not designed for commercial use.
