ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS FOR "LUNGAVITA" BIKE
In the box you will find the following components:
‐ The main parts of the bicycle (frame, fork, head set, stem, rear wheel and the transmission) are already
assembled.
‐ n.1 front wheel
‐ n.1 front brake
‐ Front brake cable
‐ Saddle and seatpost
‐ n.2 pedals
‐ n.1 kit of safety reflector
For all tightening torques please refer to the attached instructions ("Using your new Pinarello bike").
The assemble procedure is the following.
1. Unpack all components you find in the box, remove cardboard or pads which protect the frame.
2. Put the stem front facing, with a clockwise rotation of 180 degrees of the fork.
3. Mount the front wheel using the two bolts provided. Tight the bolts with a 15 mm hexagonal wrench.
4. Disassemble the front clamp of the stem and assemble the handlebar with a 4 mm Allen wrench. Be sure that
the handlebar is centered in the stem.
5. Assemble the front brake with a 5 mm Allen wrench. Between the fork and the brake mount the milled
washers.
6. Mount the front brake cable, starting from the brake lever. Lock the cable on the brake with a 5 mm Allen
wrench.
7. Adjust the front and the rear brake pads with a 5 mm Allen wrench. Be sure that the pads are in the center of
the braking surface.
8. Adjust the front and rear brake pads with the adjustment screw. Be sure that the pads are adjusted at the
proper distance from the rim (about 2 mm).
9. Cut the cable of the brake and mount the cable terminal, pressing it with a pair of pincers.
10. Mount the saddle and the seatpost with a 4 mm Allen wrench.
11. Mount the pedals. The right and left pedals are different. Please refer to the printing on each pedal. Screw the
right pedal clockwise and the left pedal counterclockwise.
12. Mount all safety reflectors on wheels, seatpost and handlebar.
13. Centre the stem with the front wheel and tight its bolts.
