CHANGING THE PERSONAL SECURITY CODE
It is possible to change the personal security code any time you
wish.
The personal security code can be changed only when the safe
door is open.
1. Press button "R".
2. Press button "C" and wait for the bolts to slide out.
3. Enter your personal security code (0-0-0-0-0-0 default code
when changing code for the first time) and wait for the bolts
to slide back in.
4. Enter your personal security code once more (0-0-0-0-0-0
default code when changing code for the first time).
5. Press button "C": if the operation has been performed successfully the green led will still be on.
6. Enter the new personal security code (min. 6 digits or letters, max.10).
7. Press button "C".
8. Enter your new personal security code once again (min. 6 digits or letters, max.10).
9. Press button "C" again.
If the procedure has been performed correctly, the lock will emit two short acoustic warning signals and the
green led will flash twice (1/2 sec).
If the procedure has not been performed correctly, the lock will emit one long acoustic warning signal (1
sec.) and the red led will come on (1 sec.). The new code has not been memorized and the opening code is
still the old one. At this point, repeat the procedure from step 1.
WARNING : with the safe door open repeat locking and unlocking test several times before
finally locking safe.
EMERGENCY POWER SUPPLY ON THE KEYPAD
This procedure must be performed exclusively with the safe locked and the lock not emitting
any acoustic and/or coloured light warning signal when any key of the keypad is pressed:
1. Place the 9V 6LR61 battery on door (see pict.2) respecting the correct polarity alignment
2. Enter opening code.
3. With the safe door unlocked, immediately replace the battery in the battery compartment.
N.B. In the event the procedure should fail, contact your nearest Service Center.
INSTALLATION HINTS
Notwithstanding the shock-proof packaging, safes may be damaged during transport. In particular for wall-
mounted safes:
– make sure they work smoothly and regularly before installing them;
– do not soil the digital keypad and the moving knobs with paint or cement residues;
8
– do not wet the keypad, the inside of the door and the locks;
– do not use old batteries;
– never transport a locked safe.
In wall-mounted models, it may be useful to strengthen the anchoring of the safe by walling in a reinforcing
rod or some lath resting on the bottom lip of the body of the safe. To prevent damaging or dirtying the front
during installation, protect it with packing paper or newspapers, securing with sticky tape.
After mounting the safe, leave it open for at least 48 hours to let the concrete dry thoroughly
and prevent the formation of condensation inside the safe.
Do not mount or install electronic safes into floors or very damp places: in this case use mechanic models
only.
