INTRODUCTION
M05 is an electronic combination designed for the easier use of safes. Its exclusive alphanumeric keypad can
memorize a numeric code (digits) or a word (letters).
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS:
– Proprietary microprocessor to guarantee flexibility and security.
– Number of digits or letters memorized: from a minimum of 6 to a maximum of 10, i.e., over 11 billion
possible combinations.
– Code memorization not in ROM.
– Control keypad with 12 membrane keys, two poles for external emergency power supply point and two
leds, red and green respectively.
– Power Supply: 1-9 Volts alkaline battery (type 6LR61) lodged inside the door (do not use rechargeable
batteries).
– Battery life: 2500 operations with alkaline battery.
– Acoustic warning signal with low or spent battery.
– Automatic stand-by mode after 20 seconds for longer battery life.
– Motorized action bolts.
– Single emergency code in case personal security code has been forgotten.
INSERTING OR REPLACING BATTERY
Follow this procedure when first installing the safe or when replacing battery:
1. Open safe door.
2. Remove plastic cover of the battery compartment on the inside panel of the door.
3. Insert or replace battery (9V alkaline type 6LR61) and replace cover (see pict.1).
NOTE: every time a key is pressed, the lock must emit a short acoustic warning signal. If the lock emits 3
short acoustic warning signals, the battery is low or spent and must be replaced.
CLOSING THE SAFE
1. After closing the safe door press button"R" for "Reset";
2. Press button "C" for "Confirm"; at this point the lock is closed and the red led will come on (approx. 8
secs) and then starts flashing (approx. 20 secs). If the door does not close, repeat the procedure from
point 1); in case the lock still does not disengage, proceed with the "Reset" procedure as indicated below.
OPENING THE SAFE
1. Press button "R".
2. Enter your personal security code (factory code: 0-0-0-0-0-0). If the code is right the lock will open after
the green led comes on (approx. 8 secs.) and then starts flashing (approx. 20 secs.). If the door does not
open, first check you have entered the right code then repeat the procedure from point 1).; in case the
lock still does not disengage, proceed with the "Reset" procedure
as indicated below.
RESET PROCEDURE
1. If the bolts are in the "open" position (inside): follow the
unlocking procedure (button "R" + code).
2. If the bolts are in the "locked" position (outside): follow the
locking procedure (button "R" + button"C").
After the correct performance of the procedure the safe must
work smoothly. Note: the Reset procedure does not modify the
memorized security code.
