Bleed dosing pump.
1 Screw connections
2 Dosing frequency button
3 Dosing pump
Refill dosing station (refer chapter on
Startup)
Loosen screws on the dosing pump.
Read and note the dosing frequency
that has been set at the LEDs of the
dosing pump.
Set the dosing frequency to 100% by re-
peatedly pressing the dosing frequency
button and waiting until there are no
more bubbles in the suction pipe.
Tighten the screws.
Set the dosing pump to the original dos-
ing frequency.
Replace fine filter
1 Filter inlay
2 Seal
3 Filter pot
4 Filter key
Turn the main switch to position "0"
Interrupt raw water inflow.
Place a bucket under the fine filter.
Loosen the filter pot using the filter key
and release the water pressure.
Dismantle the filter pot completely.
Remove the filter inlay from the filter pot
und insert a new filter inlay in the filter
pot.
Check sealing ring for damage and re-
place if required.
Screw on the filter pot and tighten it us-
ing the filter key.
Restart the raw water flow.
Set main switch to "1".
Fine regulation of the operating pres-
sures
Warning
Danger of damage to the plant. The follow-
ing values should not be exceeded when
you make changes to the plant settings:
– Maximum pump pressure 0.6 MPa
– Maximum drinking water quantity 100 l/
h
– The concentrate quantity should not fall
below the value at the time of startup.
Note
There is a time delay before the plant reacts
to the changes done to the regulating
valves. Hence do the settings at the pres-
sure regulation valve and the concentrate
regulation valve in small steps and wait for
the respective effect.
(1) Drinking water flow has fallen from
100 l/h to 80 l/h
1 Concentrate regulation valve
2 Pressure regulation valve
3 Flow meter for drinking water
4 Flow meter for concentrate
Close the pressure regulation valve in a
clock-wise direction until the flow meter
for the drinking water has almost
achieved the target value.
Close the concentrate regulation valve
slowly in the clock-wise direction until
the required target value is reached for
the flow meters of the concentrate and
the drinking water.
Readjust both the valves if required.
Note
Inform Kärcher Customer Service if this fine
regulation does not lead to any changes to
the drinking water flow.
(2) Difference between pump and con-
centrate pressure has increased by
more than 0.1 MPa
1 Manometer for concentrate pressure
2 Manometre for pump pressure
Read the value on the manometer for
the pump pressure and the concentrate
pressure and determine the differential
pressure.
Compare the ascertained differential
value with the value set at the time of
startup (see startup report).
The membrane filter unit must be
blocked if the differential pressure has
increased by more than 0.1 MPa. In-
form Kärcher Customer Service.
Mixing the chemicals
Danger
Risk of burns injury on account of chemi-
cals. Please wear safety gloves and safety
goggles while handling acid-resistant
chemicals.
Note
The values for dosing the different chemi-
cals are based on the raw water analysis
and the plant output. Kärcher Customer
Service will enter the dosing quantities re-
quired for your plant in the following table at
the time of startup.
The dosing quantities refer to a fully empty
dosing station. Calculate the correspond-
ing value if the dosing station is partially
empty.
