• To activate dehumidifying with target humidity, press the SETTING button repeatedly until the LED under
40%, 50% or 60% lights up. The dehumidifying with target humidity is now active and the device starts to
dehumidify the room until the set target value is reached.

6.3 Timer function

The air dehumidifier features a timer function that you can use to determine the number of hours the air
dehumidifier should run for before it automatically switches itself off.
• The air dehumidifier has three timer periods: 2H (two hours), 4H (four hours) and 6H (six hours).

6.4 Defrost function

If the air dehumidifier is operated in an environment with low temperatures, frost can form on the evaporator.
To ensure perfect operation, the air dehumidifier features a defrost function.
• If the temperature sensor of the air dehumidifier, which is located on the evaporator, detects an ambient
temperature of less than -1°C, the dehumidifying switches on for 30 minutes and the

6.5 Full water tank

To empty the water tank, proceed as follows:
1. Press the ON/OFF button to switch off the air dehumidifier.
2. Carefully pull the water tank out backwards.
3. Empty the water from the water tank into a sink.
4. Insert the empty water tank into the air dehumidifier.
After you have removed the water tank and put it back in, the compressor will wait three minutes
before automatically starting again in order to protect the built-in compressor against damage.

6.6 Automatic switch-off

To avoid damage to the air dehumidifier, dehumidifying is automatically stopped in the following cases
(automatic switch-off):
– If the temperature sensor detects a temperature below 0°C. Additional acoustic signals sound.
– If the temperature sensor records a temperature above 40°C. Additional acoustic signals sound.
If the air dehumidifier is stopped by automatic switch-off, when it is next switched on it will start with
the factory settings (continuous dehumidifying ∞). If the air dehumidifier is switched off with the ON/
OFF button, when it is next started up it will start with the last function settings used, not the factory
settings.

6.7 Condensate hose

As an alternative to using the water tank, you can also route the extracted water directly into an outlet using
the supplied condensate hose.
LED lights up red and 10 acoustic signals are issued.
