6. PERFORmANCE
The performance of the pump depends on the orientation of the solar panels toward the sun and the intensity of.
The max. Data obtained under optimal conditions. Function in the shade or on cloudy days can not be guaranteed.
In models with battery operation depends on the function of the battery is charged.
l This pump is designed to run by solar and batteries with pre-programmed 3h timer and memory function.
l Press open button to start the pump.
l Pump will keep running 3 hours each time when you start it, after 3 hours, the pump stops automatically.
l Memory function:
for example, your start the pump at 9 o'clock or the fi rst time, the pump runs 3 hours and will stop at 12 o'clock.
The system stores the start time and now starts every day at 9 o'clock. If you want to set a new start time, press
the off button, the memory is cleared. Start the pump to the desired time again to set the new start time.
l The battery indicator lights green when the pump is operating normally. When the red indicator on the display, the
battery is low. The orange indicator lights when the battery is charged with an AC adapter (sold separately). The
orange indicator turns off when charging is complete.
l The LED lights only work, when the pump is turned ON.
l The pump works during the day with batteries. In this time, the batteries are charged by solar panel. If you want
the pump to run at night, the pump should be turned off during the day, to charge the batteries at this time. Although
there may besome initial charge to battery. We recommd fully charging it before fi rst use (Please note item 7).
7. BATTERY mAINTAINANCE
Rechargable battery packs become less effi cient (memory effect) with repeated charge and discharge cycles. The ca-
pacity of the battery may also reduce over time and you may not achieve the full hours operation. These are therefore
subject as wear part of a shortened warranty period of 3 months. If you fi nd that the battery appear less effi cient try
to boost charge it. To do this leave off for 2 to 3 days sunny days to allow the maximum charge to the battery or use
a suitable external charger. We suggest do this occasionally anyway to help prolong the battery life. If after this boost
charge you battery still does not perform to expectations you should.
Note: Alghough there may be some initrial charge in the battery, we recommend fully charging it before fi rst
use. Turn off the solar pump for 1-2 sunny days to ensure the battery is full charged.
8 BATTERY REPLACEmENT
After used for 12 to18 months, the battery have reached it's service life, you should replace the battery. Unscrew the
battery cover, replace the battery with a new one. Please pay attention to limited Warranty: 3 months.
