7. Safety device

The appliance is fitted with an overheating protector. In the case of overheating, the
appliance switches off.
 Allow the appliance to cool down completely and then try using it again.

8. After styling and storing the appliance

 Switch off the appliance after styling (switch setting 0) and pull out the plug.
 Allow the appliance to cool down on a heat-resistant surface before storing it
out of the reach of children.

9. Cleaning and caring for the appliance

WARNING!
Risk of injury through electric shock due to live
parts.
 Switch off the appliance and pull the plug out of the power
socket before cleaning the appliance.
 Never immerse the appliance in water or other liquids.
 Remove any hair and dust from the appliance and from the attachments.
 Clean the exterior surfaces of the appliance and the heating surfaces with a soft,
slightly moistened cloth. Dry the surfaces if necessary with a soft cloth.
 Do not use any corrosive cleaning agents, cleaning spirit or alcohol.
