Subtitle
Activate/deactivate subtitles and/or set the favourite language to be
used for the subtitles appearing on the screen. The selected
language will then automatically be used when playing a DVD.
NOTE:
The language output for the subtitles depends on the language
variants provided by the DVD. There is also the possibility to set
the favourite language with the Subtitle-button on the remote
control.
Disc-Menu
Set the favourite language to be used to display the DVD-menu on
the screen. The selected language will then automatically be used
when playing a DVD.

language variants provided by the DVD.
Parental
Some DVD contain information concerning the target group. This
method is comparable with the rating of cinema films ("Suitable only
for persons of 12 years and over" e.g.).
If you have the child protection option activated a probably existing
corresponding information is read from the DVD and compared with
the value pre-set by you. If a DVD is intended for an older age group
than the one pre-set by you, the DVD cannot be played.
The following child protection options are available:
1 Kid SAF: Suitable for children.
2 G: Suitable for all age groups.
3 PG: The presence of parents is recommended. Some scenes
may be unsuitable for children.
4 PG 13: The presence of parents is strictly recommended.
Some scenes may be unsuitable for children under the age of
13.
5 PGR: The presence of parents is strictly necessary.
6 R: Young persons under the age of 17 may only view this film
in the presence of an adult.
7 NC17: Children and juveniles under the age of 17 are not
allowed to watch this film.
8 ADULT: The film must only be watched by adults.
