ANTI-THEFT-CODE FUNCTION
Problem
It's not possible to turn on the unit
because you have to enter an anti-
theft-code.
The unit doesn't accept the anti-
theft-code.
It's not possible to enter the anti-
theft-code.
Cause
1. Auto antenna is not fully extended.
2. Auto antenna not properly connected.
3. LOCAL function is activated.
Cause
1. Disc already inside unit.
1. Disc is warped or scratched.
2. Disc is dirty or wet.
3. Incompatible disc is used.
4. Disc rating exceeds Parental Lock
rating limit.
5. Disc region code is not compatible with
unit.
6. Disc is inserted upside down.
1. Disc is illegally copied.
1. PCB is not available on the disc.

1. Disc is dirty or scratched.
2. File is damaged/bad recording.
1. Message is longer than LCD can

1. The unit was disconnected from the
power supply for more than 40 seconds
and the anti-theft-code function was
activated.
