Bolt the motor with four M6 screws on the firewall of your model. Make sure the motor is well
attached and cannot get loose during operation.
Be careful not to exceed the recommendations for screw protrusion into the motor's case.
Maximum screw depth: 10 mm
Excessively high temperatures will destroy an electric motor. Hacker Brushless Motors are designed
for operating temperatures of the housing up to 65°C (149°F). Temperatures exceeding this value can
lead to motor damage and should be avoided.
Excessive temperatures result from overloading the motor and may arise from using a too large
propeller, an obstructed or jammed motor shaft, or excessively long motor startup times. Therefore it
is better to be safe beginning with a smaller propeller and check the motors temperature. Effective
cooling must always be ensured.
Do not run the motor without an adequate load. The motor can be quickly destroyed by excessively
high RPM and free running!
Under no circumstances the motor's wires must be shortened, as they cannot be tinned again (or
properly soldered) thereafter.
Connectors between Motor and ESC must be strong enough to handle high current up to 330A!
We recommend one G5,5 connector per phase on the A100 -motors, two of these per phase on the
A150 and A200 motors.
