Product description
• The device complies with the accuracy requirements stipulated in
the guidelines IEC 60942-2003 Class2 as well as ANSI S1.40-
1984.
• The calibrating signal is 1000 Hz at 94 dB and 114 dB
(reversible).
• The device can be used for ½ and 1 inch button microphones by
means of the enclosed adapter.
Prescribed use
The sound level calibrator is designed for calibrating sound level
meters. The power supply is done by means of a 9V block battery.
Operate the product under the following ambient conditions only: The
device has to be operated at an atmospheric pressure of 650 up to
1080 hPa or up to 2000 m above mean sea level, at a maximum
relative air humidity of up to 90 % and within a temperature range of
0 °C to +40 °C.
Any use other than one described above damages the
product. Moreover, this involves dangers such as e.g.
short circuit, fire, etc. No part of the product must be
modified or rebuilt and the housing must not be
opened!
