Due to variety of used lacquers and polishes for furniture, it can
happen that the base of the device can leave residua on your
furniture as a result of a chemical reaction. That's why do not
place transmitter and receiver without appropriate protection
on valuable furniture surfaces!
Make sure that a power socket is located near the receiver!
1. Place the receiver in the room where you intend to operate the
device. The distance between these both devices should not be
longer than 5 m! Make sure the intervisibility is provided because
the infrared signal of the receiver, compared to radio signals, can-
not penetrate any barriers.
Orient the receiver so that the check-back indication "2" points to
the infrared eye of the device to control!
Insert the clinch connector of the power adaptor to the jack "4"!
Connect then the power adaptor to a power socket, the check-
back indication "2" is flashing now!
2. As accessories an IR extension is supplied. You should use this
extension if there is no intervisibility between the receiver and the
device to control. Insert the clinch connector of the IR extension
into the jack "3"!
Adhere then the infrared eye of the IR extension, but only the half
of it, to the infrared eye of the device to control!
In this case you have a possibility to operate the device directly
via your remote control further on!

Operation
IR remote control
1. To operate the device, direct the remote control unit to the receiver!
2. Press any of the buttons on your radio remote control e.g. for
choosing of any TV channels or for adjusting of the sound level of
your HiFi system! The check-back indication "2" is blinking.
As you see, there is no difference in operating your radio remote
control either in the same room where the operating device is
located or in another room.
