2. Intended Use

This 2.4 GHz babyphone is used for image and sound supervision of toddlers in a nursery.
The microphone integrated in the transmitter recognises sound and transfers it to the receiver wirelessly.
The transmitter also has a camera for wireless transmission of the recorded images to the receiver and its
screen.
The included IR-LEDs have a range of approx. 1.5 to 2 meters.
The camera is equipped with integrated infrared LEDs for night vision. Please note that the images turn
from colour to black/white with increasing darkness and the resulting activation of the IR-LEDs. Bright-
ness is recognised by the camera through a photo sensor at the front.
The transmitter, receiver and both mains adapters are intended for dry indoor use only.
Please take note that you will make yourself liable to prosecution if you keep persons under surveillance
with this system without their knowledge and approval.
The transmitter is powered using the provided mains adapter. The receiver with screen can either be
powered independently through the included 3.7 V lithium ion rechargeable battery or by the included
mains adapter. The 3.7V lithium-ion rechargeable battery is of course also charged with the mains adapter.
Any use other than the intended use described above is not permitted and may harm the product and
result in short circuits, fire, electric shocks etc. The entire product must not be modified or converted.
Always observe the safety instructions included in these operating instructions. Please read the opera-
ting instructions carefully and keep them for later reference.

3. Signs and Symbols

A triangle containing a lightning symbol indicates a health hazard, e.g. electric shock.
The symbol with the exclamation mark points out particular dangers associated with
handling, function or operation.
The arrow symbol indicates special advice and operating information.
