USE
POWER SUPPLY
Mains power supply
FM: 88- 108 MHz • Remove the battery compartment cover.
MW: 540 - 1600 kHz • Plug the power cord into a mains socket. If the equipment is
SW1: 6.0 - 12 MHz powered by the cable, it is best to remove the batteries.
SW2: 12 - 18 MHz • Put the cover back in place.
Battery power supply
• Remove the battery compartment cover.
• Insert 4 LR14 1.5V batteries, ensuring that the indicated polarity
is followed.
• Put the cover back in place.
USING THE RADIO
• Turn the OFF/ON/VOLUME (4) button clockwise to switch on the
radio.
• Slide the band selector to FM, MW, SW1 or SW2 to select the
frequency range.
• Select the desired radio station by turning the TUNING (2) button.
• Adjust the volume by turning the OFF/ON/VOLUME (4) button.
• Turn the OFF/ON/VOLUME (4) button anti-clockwise to switch
off the radio.
To improve radio reception:
• In FM/SW1/SW2 mode, extend the telescopic aerial. Adjust its
position, length and angle to get the best reception quality.
• In MW mode, turn the whole radio to orientate the internal aerial
and get the best possible reception.
