Cause/Remedy
• Check if the Sleep Timer function is activated (page 30).
• Check if the Auto Shutoff is activated (page 30).
• If no signal is received or no operation is performed in the TV mode for 10
minutes, the TV automatically switches to standby mode.
• Select "AV Preset" in the "Set Up" menu and cancel "Skip" of the input
source (page 33).
• Check that the remote is set correctly for the equipment you are using.
• If the remote does not operate the equipment even when the remote has been
set correctly to the equipment, enter the necessary code set as explained in
"Programming the remote" (page 41).
• Replace the batteries.
• Select "Language" and "Country" in the "Set Up" menu and set the
language and country/region in which Text/NexTView is provided
(page 31). For Cyrillic languages, we recommended that you select Russia
if your own country/region does not appear in the list.
• Digital programme is set for "Timer REC". For details, see "Checking the
Digital Electronic Programme Guide (EPG)" on page 18.
